Default Dreaded shock replacement on my2003 xk8

Thanks to a abundance of resources on the net I successfully completed replacement of the rear shocks. The shock bolts were a nightmare, now I am going to treat myself to some decent rotors I have remove the 27 mm nuts and caliper,do they just pull off ? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Soak them in PB Blaster or such for a few days. Lay on the ground with a 2 pound hammer and frail the heck out of it from the back and front. Or do like we have been doing, get a three prong gear puller and tighten it down and use a air hammer while turning the rotor. They will need anti seize on them so the next time it will fall off.
Don't forget the anti seize on the caliper bolts, not on the threads.

Thanks for the reply. seems I didn't need to remove the nut for the drive axle. Also, does the car need to be in neutral? Someone noted that the parking brake is applied when vehicle is off and in park.Finaaly.do I need to remove the 7mm plug on the face of the rotor? thanks again

Yes on the plug, it's holds it on and I thought it was a 6 MM, go figure. I think we have always just had the car in park. The hand brake shoes are adjusted through a hole in the rotor and hub, a circle gear type, like on most American ones, it's just near the top and a little to the side. A normal screwdriver will do the adjustment, if needed. Our parking brake needs to be applied with the lever by the driver left hand, some other models have an electric one, but even then they must be applied by a pull switch. A motor pulls a cable to put it on, we are just over run things that go bump in the night.

Just to add, you need to loosen the emergency brake via cam mentioned above before your try to remove the disc (rears), rotate so tab cover is 12 oclock then using the screwdriver turn it clockwise to loosen, after replacement readjust as necessary turning it anti clockwise.
