Default DSC fault flashes when headlights turned on

When I turn on my headlights whether it be manually done or when the lights switch on by themselves since it was on the auto setting, I see the DSC fault flash just for a second and then it goes away. I could immediately turn off the headlights on and off and each time I switch them on, the DSC fault error would flash for a second. This happens every time I turn on the headlights. But once the lights have “warmed up”, if I turn off the headlights and then turn them back on, the DSC error doesn’t flash anymore. Any ideas?! My battery is fairly new as well.

I should add that sometimes I hear a muted click noise behind the centre of the dash when the error flashes, like a switch allowing the headlights to turn on.

Dubious power or more likely ground, I suspect.
