Default E-Type crossed with an XKR

Was looking at E-Types for sale and found a really interesting car. Personally I'm not a fan but I still think you guys should see it. What do you guys think? Especially for $220,000 it's a hard pass from me. https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds...e/2123801.html

Looks normal, right? I didn't spot the X100 door handles at first.

I actually recognised this car from a showroom in London! It is a few miles from where I work and one of the owners was selling his personal XKR when I was looking for one.

They have some lovely cars there!

Quote from the Hexagon Classics advertisement - ‘Space, Grace, and Pace’ of the Jaguar cars.

I hope they know more about the car than they do about one of the most famous advertising slogans in British motoring history!

Ha ha I'm not endorsing them in any way. There was a reason why I didn't buy the XKR there. It was in a worrying condition for a person who runs a classic car showroom. It also had dubious badging.

Either way some of the cars they had were beautiful. The DB4s were spotless.

It's a shame they used the ugliest of the E-Type shapes!

+1
I guess the early ones are just too valuable to be donors for this type of work (There is a coupe on the site for just shy of 1/4 million).

Looks OK though, but I'd hate to have to work on it.

Yea if you are going to mod an e-type you don't pick a perfect example and then chop it up!

Not my cup of tea, but I can really appreciate the workmanship. I do like the interior. Would be great if the black leather facing the driver and passenger was wood grain though.

Props to the person who thought of doing this project. Creativity is always welcome.
