I have just taken this picture of my XK8 2005 ECU and I seem to think the NA means this is a North Amercian spec ECU despite being in a UK RHD vehicle.
If I am right how do they differ in terms of specs / what is the impact? Do I try to source a European / UK one and if so which one is recommended?
Thank you in advance!

Reason: changing salutation
You need to find the VCATS Label in the trunk of your car it lists all the modules including the ecu number with the build code. They are usually in the spare tire well in the trunk here is a picture of what one looks like
mine was on the side of spare tire well. The ecu And modules speak to the center cluster and the cars serial number is registered in each module so any one you get will have to be flashed for your car just an fyi
