Engine hunting
I disconnected the battery to do some behind instrument panel work (rattle hunt). Reconnected battery then car didn't move for a few days. Started engine to go for a short run on highway. Engine hunted between 1200, and 1800 rpm at idle. Drove car, and hoped I would make it home. Shut her down, popped hood couldn't anything that looked out of place. Started car to but in garage to look deeper, and it ran fine. Went for a good ru n everything okay. What could that have been? 1997 XK8 coupe.
