Exhaust hangers
Since I have my bumper off it made sense to tackle my rusty exhaust hangers.

They are held on with two bolts, one of which was too rounded off to get out,

Luckily I was able to get it out with this kit.

This electrical connector was attached to the bracket, it that for the US lights on the bumper?

What a mess...

After a fair bit of effort with deox-c (citric acid) and paint stripper and a wire brush, they are ready for new paint.

Job well done. Looks great and those little sockets are a life saver. I used the metric and standard on the old Roadster as it was Whitworth fittings and one or the other would fit with a little persuasion . BFH (hammer).

Yup those gripping sockets have saved my bacon a few times. Good item in the tool box, of course the nuts/bolts are trashed after but we're always better replacing them if they are that stuck anyway.
