Anyone know what plastic the expansion tank is made from, the black one that everyone has trouble with I mean?
Mine is starting to leak and I'm wondering if it's made in a grade of plastic that can be hot air welded.

 

With the way these motors are delicate, aka don't like getting overheated why not jsut get a new one and replace it instead of patching. I realize it is easy to spend your money with these comments but these tanks are not that costly if you look around for it. I think I paid like 150.00 bucks for mine. Appears this is one part that is readily avail so there are some less costly ones out there. And it is easy to replace.
