Unhappy Finding a mechanic to work on 2001 xk8 engine

My friend has a 2001 XK8 with a pinhole water leak in the driver side cylinder head near the timing chain area. I got this much information from Eurobahn in Greensboro,NC.
The car has 214000 miles on it. The owner wants to keep it.
However neither they nor any euro type mechanic shops near here want to talk about fixing it - replace cylinder head, replace engine - nothing.
I'm not a mechanic and I'm 82 years old with no shop to work in.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to find someone near here to work on it?

how did they determine where the leak was without removing the front cover which is a lot of work to get to.

They imposed pressure on the coolant system and saw a tiny spray of coolant coming from the top of the engine. They say.

Call Andrew at British 4x4 Automotive in Durham, (919) 237-3609. He may know someone else in Greensboro who may be able to help....

Much more likely (and far fewer $$$) to be a split/decomposing water outlet (part # AJ85885), thermostat tower AJ82217, or a failing hose.
