Default Free length of new front springs is ?

Just bought two new front springs RA1025 . The free length is 16 in , Wondered if this was right .
Anybody got any old or new springs the free length would be useful to know before I pull it all apart .

KYB RA1025 are the correct springs for your XK8 coupe. (convertible and/or XKR has different spring ratings)
Your car will normally be to high at first, but will settle down after a week or three.
I bought the Jaguar genuine front springs for my XKR and was convinced that they have sent me the wrong ones. But after a month it was spot on.

P, I just saw this question. Do you still need exact length? I've got a spring handy- just ask.
