Default Front shocks off center

I think this is a common issue. Does anyone have an idea on how to correct the problem permeantly. I the upper shock mounts about 5k miles ago as the originals had turned to dust. When I remounted them the shocks were centered and torqued. Now they are off center and the front suspension has become noisy. Any guidance would be appreciated. Passenger's side.
Passenger side.

The ones you put in are shot,

there’s a member here ( Wayne AKA @cjd777 ) who makes the top shock mounts that will last longer than you or your car. Contact him.

You got about 5k more than some out of them. 25mm hole in bottom of mount, 15mm damper shaft, you've got about 5mm to play with before metal to metal contact which will be the noisy suspension you hear.
As mentioned, Wayne can rebuild for you or l have kit for DIY.
