Default Fuel range and consumption Faults

1997 XK8. Hello all. When I use the button at the end of the indicator lever I get faults for everything. Fuel range, Avg fuel consumption..Everything. No codes thrown just the faults. Fuel level gauge is fine. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Faults? What is exactly displayed as you cycle through? Does the odometer report ok?

Thank you dsd. As follows on both A and B.
-Odometer if fine
-0.0 MLS
-Range Fault
-Fuel Used Fault
-AVG Fuel Fault
-Inst Fuel Fault
-Avg Speed Fault
All in that order.

Those are not fault. It is just the trip computer telling you how you have driven during the trip. Read the DRIVERS HANDBOOK for more information.

Thank you omgimali.
No codes thrown. Just the exact verbiage above. Showing no values or quantities only those messages.

Do you know how to erase average mileage and fuel used reset buttons?

Actually, it's the 0000 button. Very counter intuitive.
