Default Funny for the day

My daughter has been using the xkr lately while I finish up replacing blown head gaskets on her car.

Today as she left the country horse camp she works at, she sees a gorgeous BRG droptop XK coming towards her. He pulls up alongside to say hi to a fellow jag owner, and as he pulls away his car rattles, stumbles and dies, and he pulls off to the berm. So my daughter backs up to offer assistance, and as she gets abreast of him, he slowly turns his head and gives her that "not again' look that only a classic jag owner can appreciate!

She said it was the best 15 second non-verbal exchange she has ever had!

Default Bet your daughter felt proud

To keep our cars running you need to keep on top of things which you have. 🤨

Bet your daughter felt on top of the world!

I should have clarified XK by saying XK1something (she isn't up on her early model ID).

She actually thought the story would have been better if mine had died as she tried to pull away. I'm happy she was disappointed!

Good one. As a previous XJ6 series3 owner I could relate!

Maybe an XK120 or XK150 - truly gorgeous cars!
