Gas door actuator attachment

I have a 2003 XKR. How is the gas door actuator attached to the car? Was it attached to the inside of the fender with an adhesive. Do not see any type of bracket or screw holes. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Mine was Superglued and works fine.
Just be sure of the placement or it will not fit down properly. Look for a mark on both surfaces that can be lined back to the same position.
