Default Good bye 01 XK8

Found a new home for my 01 XK8 vert. Just sold to a Jag lover in Texas. He has an XKE vert and has added the XK8 to his collection. My old XK8 was a great car and I am sorry it had to go, but the 03 XKR that replaced it will fill the void. If I had a bigger garage I would have kept it.

Happy ending all round, the car has a good home and you can concentrate on the R.

Congrats. The good news is that you can earmark those funds for the long-term upkeep of your XKR. There's always a silver lining whenever you sell a vehicle....

Yes, I did inform him about the Forum. He was aware of it, he also belongs to the Jaguar club in Dallas. I was really happy to sell the XK8 to a Jag enthusiast. The XK8 has an interesting ownership. The original celebrity owner lived on 5th Avenue in NY city and owned it for about 6 years. The 2nd owner was a car collector who owned several new car franchises.

My XKR is acting up a little, looks like I might be earning more points on my credit card, but what's not to love about these beautiful Jags. LOL

I think I will be able to figure that out as long as my wife is not riding with me. LOL

I don't think the XKR likes it up here in CT. I thing it wants to go back home to Raleigh, NC. It has been acting up lately, but too bad ***** cat you got to stay here in CT and get use to it.
