A hard reset won't clear Valet Mode ...........
............. and you need to get into the luggage compartment to disconnect the battery for a hard reset.
Use the Black headed key to open the luggage compartment as suggested in post #2 and this will cancel Valet Mode.
If you don't have a Black headed key or the luggage compartment lock is seized, post back here.

It won't go right into the lock or it does fit but then won't turn?
Before moving on to more drastic measures involving drilling holes, it's worth spraying penetrating oil or aerosol locksmith's graphite into the lock and then inserting the key and moving it left to right repeatedly to try to free it up. A little force can be used but not too much to risk shearing the key.
So many get caught out with this lock seizing up because it almost never gets used. once you get it freed, you'll always remember to check it from time to time to avoid this happening again.
