I have 10 thread tabs open right now, and still find a bit of ambiguity, as the Lincoln LS bolts ES72262 seem to fit some model year LS's, and not others... Have been verified by me as definitively as fitting SC R models, but sketchy verification of NA cars...

SO....

WILL... FelPro ES72262 fit my 4.0 5/99 NA XK8?
I'm afraid of the Asian quality for sets that can be had on ebay, $30 for both heads... So I'll go with Rock Auto that seems to be a favorite here...

Now... MLS gaskets... 4.2 fits 4.0??? Does model year NA v SC
P/N's that will fit my plant???

The FEL PRO ES72262 fit ALL 4.0 Jaguar V8 engines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The MLS 3.9 gaskets for Lincoln LS will NOT fit the Jaguar V8 engines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 4.2 MLS gaskets are being used by many people for ALL 4.0 Jaguar V8 engines.

hey happy sailor.. can you weigh in on a new thread I started over on the x100 board.. I have to do head gaskets on my 01 xkr and would like to make a soup to nuts thread on how to do it right.. tips tricks parts etc..
