Hear Me Roar!
I just replaced my back speakers all by myself, yea, thats right...I am woman hear me roar! Well, with a little help from this forum I must say.
I've been driving around with a busted rear speaker for about a year now and it was finally time. Bought a pair of Kicker speakers (recommended from this forum) model number KS65 6 1/2". They fit without any modifications, thankfully and sound great. Haven't driven with the top down, the weather is nasty. I couldn't just take the side rear panels out, once I got them loose I they would not swing out so I had to pull the seat and back out, but that was actually easier than I thought.
So I'm sitting there in the garage, top down (car) door down, with everything out all over the place and my boyfriend opens up the garage door, stops his car and just stares at me...then slowly walks past! I'm sure he thought... here we go, he was going to be dragged into something he didn't want. HA! Showed him!
Anyway my point is... easy, breezy, not bad for a days work, half of which was searching for the speakers. Saved myself several hundred dollars, too

Crank it up!! After all...if ya don`t like loud music then you`re probably not listening to the right music! I thought you were talking exhaust also... Glad it sounds good...I`ve been thinking of changing my subwoofers also. My wife thankfully is like you...not afraid to pick up some tools and get the hands dirty!
