Default Hello to the XK8/XKR Forum

I've already introduced myself over in the New Members area. But I wanted to say hi in my model area I live on the coast of Maine. I purchased a 2000 XK8 convertible last month with 49K miles. I must say its a cream puff! My wife and I have already logged a thousand miles, most of it with the top down and heat on
I look forward to learning and hopefully contributing to this forum. I've already picked up several items of knowledge from this forum.

Regards,
Todd

Welcome to the forum...you will find this group of guys to be absolutely critical to your ownership experience. Just about every problem or improvement you can imagine has been addressed and documented. Use the search functions with abandon...you'll find almost everything.

Now put that top back up...snow is bad for the leather.

Welcome to the forum! Once you can access files - download the JTIS21 - service manual and how to's as you need them. I hear you - put 15000 on mine since I bought in Feb of this year and with the Charleston SC climate will most likely have the top down into the new year!

Welcome aboard! You will find the car to be a mixed bag. Timeless beauty and elegance on the one hand and niggling silly ticks and annoyances on the other.

Hello, and welcome from the other corner of the country. Ignore the doubters, keep the heat on and the top down as long as you can - and wear a heavy coat!

Without appearing to be a smartass, I would suggest posting a separate thread so that people see your question, rather than having your question buried in someone else's welcome thread.

Maine Coast? Jaguar? Obviously, they've finally invented THE WHEEL up there.

Welcome aboard. Only been here a few months myself and this really is a great forum.

(The Mods have only fined me $2K so far - KIDDING!)
