Default Help needed with instrument cluster

Hi Folks, I've a problem with the LED bulb with illuminates the high beam warning on the instrument cluster which doesn't work when the high beam is operating. My local Jaguar specialist has thoroughly checked the connections, wiring and the cluster - finding no faults, the high beam works perfectly.
Has anyone replaced any of these bulbs which are soldered in the circuit board and what type of LED it is ?

If you can provide a picture of the circuit board indicating where the Highbeam indicator is located, I'm pretty sure that points to an LED rather than an LED Bulb.

Since you can very easily tell visually if your high beam is on or off, I certainly would not bother with the tedious instrument cluster removal procedure to replace a 5 pence part. Incidentally, you may generate additional faults during the removal which I would definitely try to avoid.

There are little things in life we learn to tolerate with when owning a Jag, which is part of the pleasure or torture depending on how you look at it, isn* t it?

Can you confirm it is the blue high beam that is out, not the green headlight on indicator ?

Both of these are incandescent bulbs, not LEDs, but the bulb type and procedure is different for them. Good news is neither is soldered in.

Hi Steve, thanks for the quick reply, I can confirm that both the lights on and high beam warning lights will not illuminate.
I've recently bought the Real Gauge off you so when I get round fitting it I can also replace these incandescent bulbs at the same time.
Does this mean that the circuit board will have to be accessed to replace these bulbs ?(in my ignorance I thought that these bulbs were LEDs).

For the blue high beam, the lamp is accessible from the rear of the cluster. For the green lamp, the circuit board must be removed and the lamp is in a socket on the front. If you are going to all this trouble, I suggest replacing all of the lamps.

Thanks for the info, I'll replace all bulbs as I go along.
