how is antifreeze ending up here?
It is the same on both sides, down by the knock sensors.

if you are not seeing anywhere else along the top of the engine, then most likely the valley hoses

i did overheat so i wonder if it is the head gasket. I am not sure if i have it in me to replace those gaskets.

Head gaskets would not leak in that area, they are much lower.

Could be the Norma connectors on the ends of the octopus hose. They all start to drip eventually.

Norma connectors are lower than the knock sensors. Only the valley hose or thermostat housing could leave a puddle around the sensor.
