Default How can I tell?

Hi

How can I tell...without dismantling if my electrical mirror on the door has 9 or 12 connections in the plug?

How can I tell....what vehicle this is?

Your post has had 254 Views but 0 Replies as I write this. I'll bet the other 252 members were also thinking - it's got to be an XK8 but which year / does it have powerfold?

Frank,

I've added vehicle details to your forum Signature so they will appear automatically from your next post.

From the schematics it appears the connector will depend on whether the vehicle has powerfold and memory door mirrors.

I presume you've asked the question because you need to source a replacement? For the minimal work involved in accessing the mirror multiplug, I'd be checking it:

I wonder if mirrors with heaters have the connector with more wires.

I was interested to see that was an option.

Frank,
I'm in CPH. Was just in your lovely town a couple of weeks ago, at Northside. Absolutely fantastic Radiohead concert. Took the Jag there too, through Mols Bjerge on a fine day. Doesn't get much better :-)
