Default How to change the front shocks on your XK8 (requires special tools)

In case anybody curious, or tackling the job in the forums, here is how to change the front shocks and/or shock mounts on the Jaguar XK8. By the way this shocks in my experience seldom go bad, the shock mounts are a piece of crap though!

Thank you, I'm gonna be changing front shocks and mounts when I get home next month!

Also changing rear shocks, do you have instructions for that please? Have only found step by step for XJ6/8 and although they look the same I can imagine there will be some differences!

Thanks again

Hopefully I'll get one of those tickets soon. On the top of my head when u put the strut back u want to make sure you dont catch the abs wire with the strut.
