Default How do I reset the security system?

Hey I own a Jaguar XK8 2001

Recently I repaired the security module antenna soldering and now it works properly but for some reason when I lock the car the door latch mechanism trip out as if it can't tell if it should lock or open them the alarm goes off. Whether I use the key or remote. And no I didn't bridge or short anything I believe, I only worked on the antenna board with a magnifying glass.

When I go into drive the car will lock but when I'm in park and try to lock manually it will lock then unlock

When outside the car with the key any locking will result in an alarm after a sequence of (lock- unlock- lock- unlock- alarm) Everytime

At this point I think it needs to be reset but what's the procedure for it, or should I just get another module with the same programming ?

ALL locks need to be 'in-agreement' so when one is 'out-of-sync', the cycling occurs.
Check ALL locks, boot lid, fuel door, passenger door etc.

'ONE IS NOT LIKE THE OTHERS'!

If all are closed properly and it continues to do this. Could this be a module short? I just tried to make sure everything was closed. And during the cycle is started to do the lock unlock lock unlock alarm sequence all over again

Just because a body closure is 'closed', does not mean that the latch switch is functioning properly.

What if the door is closed but the latch switch is faulty?
The modules do not know that the body closure is 'closed'. Electrically it is STILL OPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update: The issue was the module. No matter how much resync I did it was not even a temp fix. After a replacement I found the previous one had a short. And was just disposed of. The new one I have now which came out of an xkr with the same programming codes(found in the trunk near the spare tire) works like a charm!
