how do solenoids work? or what are use for?
after change the ATF, i can feel the transmisson works better than before. BUT in a highway or a performance driving, the gear changes are obtuse or lag.
i'm not a technician, so i find this:

some one can tell me if it will be useful for my problem?
thanks

The solenoids in this valve body unit are used to move hydraulic valves under the control of the mechatronics unit and the cars computer system to shift the gears ratios and perform other functions during the shifting process. I don't see any connection between the valve body and the supercharger kit you mention.

Had to look up the word obtuse, and find this description: lack of intelligence or sensitivity
I know there is some intelligence in the unit’s brain, so it must be the sensitivity part that plays up. There is some learning involved for the unit, and if over time the unit adjusted itself to its environment, by changing its environment its sensitivity becomes clearly apparent then.
You can reset the TCM's adaptations with the Jaguar tool, otherwise it will take some time before it will adjust itself again, though probably best to reset its adaptions 1st.
So I believe in fixing an issue instead of tuning around an issue.
Nevertheless I like the blue tops, especially if you have tuned your car.
