Need help with figuring which hoses go where on the hydraulic pump for a 2002 XK8...bought car and someone had scavenged the pump, hoses are there but I have no idea as to where they go...help appreciated.

 

Go to Gus's site at jagrepair, he has a complete break down of the system. The DIY sections has all the answers as your hoses are falling apart from the outside and were surely leaking at the connections, reason for cutting them up. The front ones are a bit..
but Gus and others can give you exact instructions on those and Jon89 and I have a good write up on the rears and rams.
If you have trouble finding them come on back and I will help. Its just so much information already here, I hate to just give you one answer.

Looks like the 2 hoses to the latch are shot. Got to my page I have a lot of info on that system.
