Got my xk8 convert last week running great. Problem started yesterday. When I insert key into switch, key will not turn. Help please.

 

Will not turn as in jammed or stuck? If that is the case and your steering wheel is off of center when it locks, the mechanism can be pushed against the locks. Try grabbing your steering wheel and turning it slightly, one direction or the other, to remove the pressure from the locking mechanism, and hold it there while inserting and turning the key to unlock the steering wheel. Depending how far your wheels were turned when the steering wheel locked, you may have to apply a bit of pressure while turning the steering wheel.
