Default Indicator Lamp part #

I have a 1998 XK 8 convertible. I noticed on my center console a couple of indicator lights were not working. The TRAC OFF and a Fog light indicator were not working. I removed the module and found 2 little blue lights not working. Actually, they are clear lamps with a neo blue

cover. The lamp is mounted and twists onto the circuit board. I read some previous messages and found one blue indicator had a part # JLM20308 which is blue. But, that one is bigger than the one I'm looking for. Just looking for a replacement part #. Any help would very much be appreciated. Thanks!.

measure the diameter of the led ,say 4mm and get one at ebay or radio shack and solder it in. you may have to try it both ways to get it to light .
Sorry just looked again and I see the bottom of the filament supports ..so the next poster is correct.

The blue cover can 'sometimes' be removed and transferred to a replacement bulb.

The X308 door switchpack bulbs might be a match?

Check the base colors for a match?

R, when you said a little bigger, flags went up. A few yrs ago I replace a lamp in the gear selector. When faced with s choice of bulbs. I saw a short one and a longer one. Of course I bought longer (bigger is better- right?).

Wrong! When I went to replace, they were all the shorter bulbs.I quickly noticed the area above the new bulb gets quite hot to the touch!

So, if your changing bulbs don't fall into this trap.

John
