Indicators / blinkers won't cancel after cornering

Hi Guys

My Jag has developed a problem that when I am about to turn right , I indicate using the stalk, and after cornering the stalk would not go back and cancel the indicators. It would going left though .

Any ideas of what this would be? The stalk itself or some other mechanical bits?

I have this problem too, has anyone fixed the triggering mechanism? I just realised this is not the XJ6 X350 section. Sorry.

FWIW, I did fix a friend's W203 Merc triggering mechanism via a YouTube video which entailed flipping the wear bits over to their unused sides. I don't know if Jag's are similar in that respect or not.
