Need some assistance everything is back together, radio LCD lights up. However, illumination only works where the headlights are off. As soon as I turn the headlights on, dashboard goes dark. You could see it in the video. Dimmer has no effect, only when it clicks all the way to ON (you could hear click in the video) you could see a little change in the LCD brightness. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I haven't checked the fuses yet, that is my next step. Never easy....

sorted out, see below

So fuse 18 passenger side front was blown. Replaced it and it blew again. Unplugged cruise control and sports mode switches, replaced the fuse, turned the car on, all good. Plugged the switches back in, still no blown fuse, go figure...

For some reason radio illumination doesn't work, except for the LCD backlight. I know bulbs are good, scratching my head. Any ideas?

Also Sports Mode red LED is out but it is impossible to replace...

found this old post, not very helpful..
