Default Iphone Static in the Kitty

When I talk on my Iphone in my 2002 XKR while it is running the person on the other end of the phone says the connection has an enormous amount of static and popping. I have no idea what would cause that. Has anyone else had that issue or have any ideas what would cause it?

this post is probably not gonna help you, but...

When I use the tape cassette adapter for my ipod, I hear a whine in the speakers if the cable is placed along the j-gate. Lift the cable away and the sound disappears.

{posting till I can get access to those bluetooth schematic attachments}

I have been experiencing the same issue. If you switch over to speakerphone, it seems to eliminate the static.

I forgot to mention that I think I saw some older posts about his topic a few weeks ago. It seems to only affect the latest Iphone4. It has something to do with airbag sensors in the car creating a signal that activates noise canceling on the phone. I was told that you can place duct tape over the sensors, but I couldn't seem to find them. Although less than perfect, you can switch to speakerphone and it eliminates the static on the other end.
