Default It's Alive!

After 5 months of storage, the Jag came out of winter hibernation today! Fired right up, all systems are go and it's home for detailing. Time to plan a road trip for next week.

I'd like to say she purred loudly, but, stock exhaust, pretty quiet. Still, it was a very contented purr and nice to hear again. After going through all the systems/fluids/tire pressures, did a ten mile drive to listen for any unusual noises or warnings. Got home, looked at the garage and decided what the heck. Turned around and did a 100 mile cruise around mid Michigan. When I did finally get home and parked in the garage, as I was walking in to the house, I swear I did hear her purr. She definitely likes stalking the streets again.

Have to say, when this car goes good, there's nothing like it in terms of comfort combined with the AJ-V8 power. Car glides over bumps in the road, and after a long drive, there's no problems with back stiffness. Leaves a grin on my face too esp. if I've had the top down.

Just don't put hot coffee in the useless centre console cup holders! LOL!
