Default JTIS Manual

I may be taking on the hydraulic hose replacement in the next week and a JTIS manual would probably be very useful. All of the listings on ebay are not compatable with Windows7 64 bit systems. Any suggestions or a source of a compatable CD would be appreciated. Thanks

Jim Lombardi, our resident JTIS/MicroSoft expert will be along shortly, I am sure, but I suspect that you are going to have to run in virtual 32 bit mode. I just told you more than I know.

Jim has several post on the subject if you would like to do a search while waiting.

Default Me, too

I'm doing mine in 2 weeks. I just received my hoses and fittings from Colliflower - very nice pieces of work!

The pictures on Gus' website are good, too.

Spurlee,
I sent an email to Colliflower, but have not received a response. I may be ordering a kit if the shop that worked on the hoses last year does not step up to the plate.

Providing you have the Pro version of Windows 7 x64, I wrote up this little workaround using XP mode (which is built in): https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...14/#post229245

For Gus and Mountaincat -

I am in the process of changing out the Hyd Hoses with the ones from Coliflower. Not for the faint of heart, but interesting. Some of my minor problems may be associated with the new hose lengths. I did not lay them out side by side to check length. I just assumed that they were both the same length, as there was no indication or anything in the box to the contrary.

Below by Mountaincat Post -

5. As you blow the air through each one, put a mark on the pump fitting to indicate which hose is which. You’ll need to know this later when you hook up the new hoses. I marked the “longer” damaged hose with an “F” on the pump fitting. This is because the new hoses have an “F” on the “longer” hose on both ends.

Additionally, I did not notice an 'F' on the new hoses at either end.

I have the new hoses in and connected to the header. While trying to do final hookup at Pump, however I am running a little short on hose length. Now in the process of going back to the cable ties and clips trying to get all the slack out.

Maybe my problem is associated with using the wrong hose on the wrong connection at the header piece. Is there truly a difference in the two hose lengths from Coliflower? I would hate to, have to take the header down to switch the connections.

Are the hoses made to the exact length with no fudge factor? I may be ordering a kit, and I hope there is some room for slight variations in the install. I would hate to go through the 6-8 hour process and come up an inch short on the connection. I would think Chic could cut the hose material a little longer to accomodate some slack in the trunk area.
