Default Super clean that interior

I had a lot of dust in small places that I couldn’t get to with a vacuum. So I had the idea that instead of vacuuming it out I would blow it out!
I have a Toro electric leaf blower with 110 mph wind speed. It was a sunny day with a slight breeze. I opened both door and let it have it. You could see the dust in the sun light coming from everywhere. Under the seats, where did that chop stick come from???, under the dash, rear deck, don't forget the HVAC vents. I kept blowing from one door and then the other until there was no more dust showing up in the air.

This system gets ALL those places you could never reach before.
If you’re a clean nut like me you'll really enjoy the dust free interior when you’re done.

Guzzi - don't think its a bad plan though, shame I don't have one, could be my next purchase though!

LOL, it seems you had fun but I would still daunt to tackle this job because that blower could be wayyyyyyy powerful for a car

I drove my Contour SVT in to work today that I also did the Super Cleaning on. Looks like a new car inside. The morning sun shines into the clean air vent. Not bad for a car with 204,000 miles!
BTW, I tried it on the SVT before the Jag just in case interior parts started flying off.

My next battle is to get the squeaks out of the center console, any ideas?

Taking the center console is pretty easy and you should be able to clean everything around it to maybe eliminate the squeaks!!! Do a search on center console and you should find the instructions on how to remove. I just had mine off this past weekend to install the new ash tray that had broke apart from the inside. Let me know if you need any help and I will tell you more if you need!

I'm thinking that you will try this when she is not home, and if something goes wrong, you can just shake your head, and say "I have no idea what happened" I know that's what I would do!

I was thinking of smearing the whole thing with Vaseline!
All the plastic in there sqeaks when it touches each other.
Where do they get this stuff???

Talcum powder! The squeaks I had were where the seat rubs on the console. Wipe a little talc on it and it will go away. Remember the sides of the seat are vinyl and vinyl against vinyl will squeak. I have used it in other areas with success too.

guzzi;

Blowing (with compressed air) rather than vacuuming is a great way to get rid of deep-down dirt, just don't go anywhere near the center console, or any other switch gear! You can accidentally blow grit between the electrical contact surfaces, and wipeout a whole dash-full of switches in a heartbeat.

You can also use the blower to dry your car after washing. Jack
