Default Just Thought I'd Share the News.

Finally a sunny day in Ontario Canada. After the winter of rear end rebuild, transmission pan and fluid change I took my 2004 XK8 for a nice drive. No warning lights or bells, nothing but good feeling that can only come from a cruise in the most beatiful car ever built.

I know the feeling mate. Good luck with keeping her running perfectly.

Good to hear it.

I wish more members would post about driving their faultless Jaguars.

"Faultless Jaguars", Graham? Wake up, man! There's no such animal, at least not for more than a few days at a time....

I also have an 04 Xk8 vert with only 45kmi on it. Bought it in 05 from a NY dealer. It has been absolutely problem free ,except new tires. I also live in Ont. but find the local Jag dealer difficult to deal with. Do you have a good mechanic ?

Jon,

Perhaps you should consider importing a reliable RHD 2007 XK 4.2 Coupe for your next Jaguar.

Thanks for the kind suggestion, Graham. We'll keep the two that we have for as long as it remains economically feasible, but I don't expect we'll be bringing any more Jaguars into our fleet. I'm guessing that we'll stick to pickup trucks and crossover SUVs going forward. But if someone wants to give me a Tesla Model S, I won't turn it down....

I am my own best mechanic. I have 175,00 km on my girl and she drives like new. I don't think you should need anything but brakes and wax for a long time.

Woke up my Jag last evening, never missed a beat. 7 Months of storage and not a single issue.

In my limited experience only the Sapphire blue jags living in Canada are perfect and trouble free.
