Default Knocking noise coming from rear

Hi,

Hoping to get some advice. I have a knocking noise which sounds like it is the rear of the car, UK Passenger side.

Only happens when going over bumps or accelerating from a standstill.
A frame bushes are new and replaced the shocks a few thousand miles ago with new upper foam mounts.

Bouncing the car stationary doesnt produce any noises and from what I can see under the car, everything looks to be fine.
Also had someone feel the lower shock bush whilst bouncing and nothing could be felt.

Car handles and drives fine, just a bit alarming hearing this from time to time.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Ryan

Could be worn-out rear sway bar bushings....

For anyone wondering about this, it turned out to be a loose bolt on the A frame.

when checking these bolts with a normal ratchet wrench it felt tight. when I got the breaker bar on them, one just started loosening with little resistance.
Retorqued all the bolts and no more knock!

Feel like an ****, but lesson learned.

Hopefully it helps someone else out in the future.

No-cost fixes (except for the time involved) are always the best kind. Happy motoring....

Here's a test.....Lock your wife and your dog in the trunk (boot) for a couple hours and see which one is glad to see you. TM
