Default Leather seats

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all. Does anyone have any experience with Tops Online replacement seat leathers? I'm thinking of ordering new leather because the driver's seat back is badly worn and has two tears.

Any info or experience with them would be very helpful.

Also, is it difficult to replace the leather? I assume you have to remove the seats. Maybe there's a seat cover replacement video on this site.

Happy New Year too.

Hi John,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too. Take a look at this post from around six weeks ago. I bookmarked it for future reference.

Cheers,

Stu

johns427,
I have purchased a seat bottom from Topsonline (Vic's Upholstery Supply in Panorama City, CA). When it first arrived I felt it was a different grain pattern than the original, color was perfect, fit as well. Within several months and my big butt sliding in and out everyday, the seat looks almost identical to the passenger seat, and I'm quite satisfied. Nice thing is that they'll sell individual pieces so that you don't have to buy the whole replacement kit.

Thanks for the good information guys. I purchased just the driver's seat back and saved a lot. Good to know it will match well. It doesn't have to be perfect, after all.

Tops on Line gave me detailed instructions on removal and installation and advised me to use a heat gun on the low setting after the cover is installed, not before, to remove wrinkles.
