Default List of options and characteristics

Greetings,

A few days ago I brought home a 2003 XK8 Coupé. I'd like to know if there's a way of determining the car's configuration as it left the factory. I'm thinking of colour codes (interior and exterior) as well as installed options. At this point I know the VIN and production date, and that's about all.

Thanks for your attention.

Welcome to the forums metric,

You will find the Paint and Trim codes on the LH door pillar:

This is my European specification 2005 XK8 but the manufacturer label on the US specification vehicles is similar.

Graham

Thanks I'd assumed our cars are too old to be supported by the dealer. Perhaps I can get a radio code from them as well.

Don't think your car needs or has one if in the states.

I dug up the build sheet in my email so you can get an idea of what it includes.

That's just the sort of information I'm looking for, jacobmstein; thanks. I'll visit my Jaguar dealer when I get license plates in a week or two.

Hmm, I purchased my 2004 a month ago and the seller was emphatic that I needed the radio code in the event of a power fail. It came from Toledo OH and never left the state.

I was told by the dealer I didn't need it, I also read online it was only for cars in certain markets (can't remember if just British cars or all of Europe). I've had the battery disconnected for long periods of time many times, I just got a new battery put in with no issue as well. Did the previous owner give you the radio code?

Jacob

Yes I have the radio code on a card and it is written inside of the owners manual.
