Question Low Coolant sensor

Howdy Folks!!...
I just bought a new expansion tank from Gaudin Jag Parts... and I'm not sure if a sensor comes with it or not. In case it doesn't, and I have to purchase ont, whart type of plastic glue do I use to seal it in??... I had a leak in my tank, so I bought another one. When I took my old one out (the bottom hose clamp was enjoyable) the sensor poped right out. When I checked for a price from Monte Shelton Jag... The parts man told me it had to be glued in. So...hence...the question. What did you use Gus, when you changed yours out??
Thanks for the info
Fred

if you got a tank from the dealer, it comes with a shiny new cap and sensor is included. Enjoy!

Unhappy Low coolant sensor

Thank you h20boy for your responce. Yeppers...I got it this morning and the sensor was there, however, my new console lid... the bloody cup holder would not stay in and latch. Brand-Spanky new, and no workee... I called them back and asked how to close the lid, and the parts person said that they are notorious for breaking in-route. Bummer... They have to order the next new one from Cheery old England. They'll probably send it by row boat, then hitch-hiker, and finally kidee-kart, and it will reach me in a month. And here I was hoping to install it yesterday. Oh well...it will eventually come to pass...
Thanks for your help...

Sorry I did not get back with you sooner. The sensor just snaps into the new tank. I just recently replaced my old sensor that was broken I guess from age and the new one just snapped into place. Yes I understand that lower hose on the tank is a real pleasure to disconnect and connect.

Thanks Gus for your reply. You know...putting the new tank in was not all that bad.. I took the "Squeezy" clamp off and put on the regular kind of clamps that you can tighten with a screwdriver or socket. I hope my bottom hose has life left in it...it sure is weird looking, and I bet a real treat trying to replace.
Thanks again
Fast Freddie

Cup holders dont really break in transit, but that little pin (latch) does get worn and if your console lid is broken by the teeny tinny torx screens. This lets the whole cup holder assembly not sit tight in place and very slightly moves away from the formentioned latch.....of course non of this may be youre issue, but it happens, and was the issue recently with my personal jag

Thank you Brutal for your responce. My old lid was really trashed... somebody treated it unfairly. So I ordered a new one. I'd tear it apart to see what was wrong with it, but since it is "new", I'll let "Jag" figure it out. I know what you mean about the tinny torx... I tore apart the old one and saw what you how small they were.
Thanks Again
Fred

Iilium, I sent you a private message with the info
Fast Freddie I bought it from Gaudin Jaguar
