Default Mass Air Sensor wiring question

On this thread 80sRule posted a photo of the mass air sensor connector, or at least a generic equivalent :

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...aution-206603/

i don't find the connector or a wiring pigtail in the https://www.sngbarratt.com/us/#!/English/home catalog, but may not be looking in the right place.

does anyone know if the stock wiring to that connector is just part of the underhood main wiring harness, or is it a separate "stand-alone" wiring pigtail ?

I think I might have a broken wire inside that connector, or in the last few inches of the harness leading up to it. Am hoping a connector and wiring replacement doesn't involve splicing in the new part. It'd be nice if the connnector and associated wiring had its own part number so I could just unplug and plug in, etc.

All connectors are part of big wiring harness. If your connector is broken, call dealer and ask if they sell this connector. Then you will have to splice wires. I would go to junk yard and buy a connector for $2.

try this company. they can make a particular connector setup with pigtails to be spliced into the existing harness
