Default Milky Foglights

X100 XKR with flush fog lights that have gone opaque. I am told I have to buy new. Surely not. Does anybody know how to refurbish them?

They're just dirty from the inside. You can access through the wheel well and clean them up with a microfiber towel. You do have to remove the wheel well liner to have enough room. You also have to flip over the bulb housing. It is quite easy and it will make sense once you're in there.

or if you remove them you can separate the rear assembly from the housing/lens. and clean away.

Take care with the metal clip that holds in the lens. After 20 years the lens is more brittle and prone to cracking.!
