Hi. My 97 xk8 has a hole in the inside of top near windshield where something like a pull used to be.Oval shaped cavity with nothing there. Any ideas? Thanks.

If it is what I think it is it’s a pull down aid for the roof to enable you to lock it manually when the roof fails to operate properly.

I'm leaving this one alone, it's too easy. =)

Beav,
Shame on you, ducking out of explaining the replacement procedure for the auxiliary di-lithium crystal receptacle.
Just because the engine and transmission have to come out to start with doesn't mean you shouldn't try to help.

Well, no matter what has happened I'm not going to advise someone to lick their car.
