Just completed the install of the Aluminum Coolant Tower , on my 4.2L The unit was great looking and seems to be the option we've been needing. The Rear section mounted ok to the block with the usual attempts on the 2 rear next to plenum. The front piece that mounts to the block with 4 bolts had to be modified . The 4 holes were not adequately spaced to allow the bolts to align w/o threat of cross thread. I used a 13/64" drill to enlarge all 4 holes and my bolts went in block smoothly. I removed the new Temp sensor and replaced the new thermostat since the existing ones worked great .
Some pics. maybe later
Yes, the part appears leak free and bolted up OK. The 13/64 drill allowed adequate clearance for the 4 Bolts ( 6.25x25mm) to align and thread in without problems. The square rear portion also uses the same bolts. Mitzone has a contact message link so I advised them of the situation and suggested they enlarge the 4 holes to 5.2mm to avid mounting problems. Cross threaded bolts are not my thing :-)
Mine came from E Bay vendor Autowild Auto, your link led me to a unknown shopping page. I did swap the temp sensor and Stat. the Stat appeared less quality.
