I totally agree with the previous (from
Jon) and the other reviews of Wayne's (and Steve's) mounts. In addition to a superior product, I found Wayne to be a fount of knowledge regarding front suspension issues with X100's and what else to look for 'while you're in there'. We haven't met in person yet, but I consider him a friend from our conversations, and am looking forward to an in person visit before long. Here's the before (93,000 miles) and after (94,000):
BEFORE driver side, ride height 13⅝" BEFORE passenger side, ride height 13⅞"
AFTER driver side, ride height 16"
AFTER passenger side, ride height 16".
Ride height is now 16" on all four corners after new Lesjofors springs, Bilstein shocks, stabilizer bar links and bushings on the front. I also disassembled the upper control arm bushings, examined them for wear (none found) cleaned and relubed them, and examined all front ball joints including tie rod ends (no wear anywhere).
Toughest parts: assembling springs and shocks with spring compressors (Take your time and back off and slow down if springs don't stay straight.) and driver side stabilizer bushings (trans cooler and power steering lines in the way) use broom sticks or wood blocks between them to see and access the bolts. Take it easy and be safe!
You will find Wayne to be a joy to do business with and a great help if you have any concerns, questions, or difficulties along the way. I had some previous experience with this kind of work on other vehicles, but was glad to learn from his experience on this project.
It's easy to get started, just send a private message to him at cjd777 with your details and phone number. He'll get back to you—count on it. And you'll be happy—you can count on that too.
Best wishes, and happy motoring,
Rick

Mine cost $225 for the front pair with USPS shipping included from Wayne. There was no core charge, but he expects to receive a rebuildable set of mounts in return which cost me $26 and change from Wisconsin to North Carolina via USPS; it may be less for UPS. Don't cut off the studs to remove the top mounts, it renders them useless, remove the top control arm fulcrum bolt (You should do this anyway to check the condition of the bushings; if they are tight and in good condition, you can just clean and relube them. I used Permatex anti-seize grease. The wishbone then swings out of the way to make removing the strut assembly easy. Use plenty of penetrant on all nuts and bolts (I like Free All, because it works fast; PB Blaster is good too, but works best if you start a day or two ahead soaking them). Take your time, and stay safe.
