Best bet is a salvage yard buy. i sourced one from a a yard in St Louis 2 years ago. NOS is very slim and searching is tedious. Took me 2-3 months of ads looking and searching yards on line with 2003 fwd XK8's. GOOD LUCK!
I have a near perfect one that I removed from my 2004 XK8 when it had 39K miles on it.
Now that new ones for 4.2 are virtually non-existent the used ones are just as valuable as new.
Considering the rarity of this particular one I would need an unreasonably high offer in order to let it go. But I would sell it since it will never be on my car again.
