Ingalls, Oklahoma. About 250 miles round trip from my home in Northeastern Oklahoma.


Ingalls was the location of the bloodiest shootout in United States Marshall history, US Marshalls vs The Doolin-Dalton outlaw gang. Three US Marshalls were killed.

The XKR is parked in front of a faithful replica of the old hotel the gang was holed up in between bank robberies. (replica built in the 1950’s)
