Can anyone please tell me the socket size needed to remove the upper o2 sensor

22 mm or 7/8" GOOGLE says. used topic "02 sensor wrench size"

I bought
this this
which fits fine but I couldn't actually get the sensor out with resorting to belting the bit where the drive would go. I had to tighten it the same way going in from the top. I wasn't proud of myself.

Thanks, I wasn’t sure of size I read one thread where the guy said it was 25mm, but most said 22mm

I had good success with a 7/8th Crowsfoot on my Left hand upper

did I read there was an access hole in the footwell ?

Yes you did on one side only I think. I took a look and either it was more faff to use it or it didn't help I forget which.
