OBD2 Port Question
I have been using an Ultra Gauge plugged in to the OBD2 Port to monitor Engine Temperature. Started the car and Ultra Gauge did not come on. Pulled it out and tried in another vehicle and it worked. Plugged my Code Reader into OBD2 Port and it works but there is an Electrical Fault Warning on Dash. This Electrical Fault Warning doesn't come on with the Ultra Gauge Plugged into the Port. I sprayed Electrical Cleaner in the OBD2 Port but didn't seem to make any difference. Any suggestions? Thanks for any replies.
Cant picture electrical fault message. Where do you see it? Message display in speedo? It's not displayed in the ultra guage device right?
If on the car, does it go away when UG unplugged?
Thx, John

Wild guess, but one of the lines on the OBDII is Battery voltage. Might want to trace that line down and see if a fuse is blown. I looked at the '03 wiring diagrams for you, and it looks like Fuse 13, 5 amp in the driver's side fuse box might be the one. On the OBD plug, pin 16 should have 12V.

Checked fused and check pin 16 and have 12 volts. Tried Autool X50 Plus and it would not work. I tried a Zurich Code Reader and didn't get the Electrical Fault Code with it.
