which one is this and how difficult to replace? I've looked through the diagrams and parts list but wanted to get some insight from the community.

Time to get a new one.
Your choice, stock or cut it in half to remove and take it to the store and get a replacement the same size, silicone would be my choice.

The hose is listed as:
Housing To Coolant Inlet Hose AJ811638 (supercharged)
As for difficulty, the closeness between these two metal hose fittings is about 1.5" (inner radius) and 3" (outer radius). I do not know if anyone has been sucessful in finagling the new hose back in by just undoing its clamps and disregarding this following suggestion:
I suggest undoing the aluminum outlet pipe /thermostat housing by removing 4 screws (2 into each cylinder head). Consequently, when separated, the (2) Water Outlet Seals C2C11477 (on the housing for each cylinder head) will probably be age/heat flattened or worse and need replacing.

Thermostat housing to coolant inlet. I changed mine a couple months ago. Helps if have clamp pliers. The lower opening was “welded” to the metal. Cut in half and slipped an awl between rubber and metal to release.
