Default Oil sump pan removal...

I need to remove the oil sump pan to do some inspections due to a goofy set of VVT error codes that I can't seem to clear.

I'm hoping to find a clogged screen.

I have heard that there's little to no room to remove the pan without also removing some of the lower supports.

Anyone with experience here that can direct me on this?

Thanks

It's just the x- brace. Four bolts and it's off. One of the easiest pan removals you can find.

Music to my ears!

Finally...something relatively easy!

Thanks!

I did not even have to take off my x-brace. My pan was caved in and I found alot of plastic primary guide material. Pretty straight forward though.
