Default P0105 and P0171

Hi all,
Since yestrday those codes are appearing in obd scan.
Just for info, the decreased performace alert came on twice approaching a stop after a long downhill (1-2 km), both with car hot and cold.
The errors start coming after a long run on the Dolomites of about 150 km.
I can add more that i think the egr pipe is loosing some exhaust, and i was planning to blank it.
I had no time for trim read, i will do it tomorrow.
Any opinion that the issues are related?
Car is a2001 Xkr.
Thanks in advance

I don't know which pipe you mean but the entire system must be vacuum tight.

The Xkr has a pressure sensor placed on the firewall back to the inlet elbow. And a little pipe that connect the elbow to it. Seems that this pipe is also connected via A T, to the Egr...

Yes, it's probably responsible as it's providing an air leak.

Take a good look at the little hose that runs to the fuel pressure regulator on the right bank. At least I "think" you've got one there - lol. After months of code-free driving I recently threw a P0171 because of the little hose coming loose, but I've got a 4.2R, so it might be different on the 4.0R.

I don't have a pic handy now, but there's a little tube that comes out of the top of the SC just below and behind the coolant plug. The tube connects there.

Tested yesterday, seems the issue was the pipe of the MAP.
No more errors in OBD scanner.
Thanks all.

Hi Lucadelta,

I have the same problem on my XKR 4.0R 2001, ODB shows P0105, can You please upload a photo of the pipe of the MAP that was the cause to the error in Your case.

thanks a lot!

Default P0105 ODB Error code - MAP sensor hose loose

Hi All,

I fixed it, it was a loose hose to the MAP sensor located at the firewall, no more ODB P0105 error - I attached a photo as this seams like a common problem.
